Floodplain Projects - Wilson Creek

A large lake was incorporated into the amenities of the community to provide secondary floodway conveyance of Wilson Creek and balanced earthwork for the site. This was a complex floodplain reclamation project because it was located at the confluence of both Wilson Creek and Franklin Branch and limited to a no rise criteria. Approximately 52 percent of the developable area was reclaimed from floodplain.
