Floodplain Projects - Cottonwood Branch

Permitting through the US Army Corps of Engineers was avoided through a unique channel design incorporating jurisdictional features into the overall floodplain reclamation. This resulted in avoiding an eight month approval process and saving over $400,000 in mitigation costs. Approximately 82 percent of the surrounding floodplain was reclaimed as a result of this project.
